Can you believe it? I bailed on Convergys and got a new gig. I now am the “Extremely Intelligent Executive Information Officer” (you know… EIEIO… ) for Beat the Bookstore. They franchise stores at major public universities where students can buy and sell books for classes – they just buy for a little more and sell for a little less than the local campus bookstore. The environment here is lots of fun, and the company is small and dynamic.
Tecnhically, they have some interesting hurdles to cross in the very short term – some challenges I am very much looking forward to.
In other news, AG development is progressing nicely – I have finally gotten a rough skeleton to compile, and have begun work on the database schema design. I hope to speed things along to a release Real Soon Now™.
