Tiger Moth Crash!

Here’s a little gem of a video I shot back in January – just after I cut ailerons in the upper wings of my Tiger Moth.  This flight started out great – smooth air, clear day, etc.  Then I started playing fast and loose with the sticks, tried to go inverted too close to the ground and the rest is… well… you’ll just have to watch it.

    Ahhhh! Roll out of inverted flight. Don’t loop out of it. 🙂

    Bummer man. How bad was the damage?

      heh. Now you tell me. 🙂

      The damage was not horrible.. I think it cracked the upper wing and busted the prop. This was a few months ago, though – so I could be remembering another time the nose of the plane was introduced to the ground.
